Marketing Intern

At Retina, we enable businesses to tell their own data stories.  We use data science and machine learning to predict the future buying behavior of consumers, and the types of actions that businesses can take around those predictions.  These sophisticated models are then turned into digestible strategic insights and actionable marketing segments. The Marketing Intern at Retina AI will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer to implement B2B marketing strategies towards generating sales for Retina. The ideal applicant will excel at written business communication and be able to think outside the box for marketing strategies.  This is a part-time position (20 hrs/week). Responsibilities:   
  • Generate weekly reports on marketing performance
  • Publish marketing content, including press releases, case studies, and blogs
  • Generate content for blog, website, emails, and social media
  • Plan and run marketing events, both online and in-person
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Experience with marketing analytics, including Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Basic knowledge of Buffer
Personal Skills:
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills with a self-starter attitude
  • Knowledge of media trends (webinars, events, social media)
  • Thinking outside the box with unique approaches
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple roles and prioritization
  • Effectively prioritizes as new tasks come up
