Overview:

We are hiring a Sales Development and Demand Generation Specialist to support our sales and marketing teams. In this role, you will spearhead sales and demand/lead-generation activities, including prospecting, outreach, qualifying leads, and outbound marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales prospects and reach out to them to book meetings for product demonstrations
  • Reach out to leads captured and nurtured by the Marketing Team to book meetings for product demonstrations
  • Create and execute outbound campaigns to drive leads (MQLs) for sales using Hubspot
  • Build prospective contact lists using Seamless, LinkedIn, and/or similar tools
  • Understand Retina’s ideal customer buying persona and value proposition
  • Assist in content development to target prospects throughout the sales funnel
  • Support marketing campaigns through social media posts, contact database maintenance, and campaign deployment
  • Support sales campaigns with content development, campaign set-up, and personalized follow-ups
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance based on goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related area
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant business development experience
  • Able to think critically, strategically and tactically
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure
  • Team player mentality and competitive spirit to win
  • Proven track record of taking initiative and hitting or exceeding goals
