At Retina, we enable businesses to tell data stories about their customers. We use data science to predict future buying behavior of consumers and recommend actions that businesses can take around those predictions. Our founding team has led data science teams at Facebook and Paypal, built and sold companies, and built the core tech behind several startups. Overview:
We are hiring our first Head of People Operations to lead Retina’s next stage of company growth. The Head of PeopleOps will lead initiatives across the organization including, but not limited to, performance management, organizational expansion and future-of-work strategy, engagement and retention, career development, compensation and benefits, employee experience, and culture. To excel in this role, the candidate must have prior experience leading a PeopleOps or HR team. Apply HereResponsibilities:
- Oversee the management and administration of all employee policies and benefits
- Develop, implement, and own Retina’s overarching approach to building and maintaining a talented, engaged workforce
- Develop hiring strategies and implementation plans to identify talent from within and outside Retina for upcoming roles
- Develop and implement performance review and 360° feedback process to reinforce our culture of feedback and learning
- Ensure management team has visibility into the talent strengths, gaps, opportunities, and risks within the organization
- Join the management team in refining the culture & values embodied across recruiting, onboarding, growth, retention and more
- Lead our DEI efforts, ensuring all employees have a safe, fun, and motivational work environment
- Identify and create programs for learning and development
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience, with preferably 3+ leading People Operations teams at high-growth companies
- Global mindset - ability to adapt to various people and cultures with a cohesive view in mind
- Experience with HRIS, survey, analytics, compensation tools
- Leads with empathy and humility, while demonstrating the ability to bring a business perspective to key decisions
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- BA or BS degree in a related field, or direct relevant experience

- Experience in the marketing technology space and/or startups
